The Tour de France 2020 with Alpine Cycling
Join Alpine Cycling for the week of the Tour de France in Savoie. We will look after the logistics, get you to the right place and the right time to see the riders come through, provide an ARGON18 bike to ride if you wish and put you up in a gorgeous Chateau hotel, complete with bike workshop, sports massages, and rides in the amazing Savoie area. Years of experience riding in this area and organising trips means that we will ensure that everything runs smoothly for you.
The Hotel
Our Chateau Hotel is ideally situated for cycling and the luxurious surroundings are the perfect place to relax after a long ride, take a dip in the Hotel pool and make the most of your sports massage. Amazing food will give you all the fuel you need for the following day in the saddle. The little extras for you, laundry service, thermal spa and wine tasting will make the Alpine cycling experience unforgettable.
The Riding
Our experienced guide will take you on some of the most stunning routes, classic cols, mythical tour de France climbs and some little known original routes. Lunch stops with breathtaking views on the longer days mean you can make the most of being here in the Alps.
The Tour
Live and breathe the exciting queen stages of the Tour de France! On the 14th the Tour will be travelling from the Tour du Pin to Villard de Lans and we will find you the best spot to watch this exciting stage. The 15th will be an exciting stage from Grenoble, up the Col de la Madelaine, finishing with the final climb up the Col de La Loze in Meribel. The followng day the riders will cycle from Meribel to La Roche sur Foron, via les Saisies and the Cormet du Roseland, it could be the deciding day!

Cycle a part of the Route up to Villard de Lans and watch the Tour arriveon the French National Holiday
Wednesday 15th July
- Dinner at Château.
Friday 17th July 2019
Possibility to see the start village at Bourg en Bresse or ride the lacets de Montvernier
Michellin Starred restaurant for dinner
Saturday 18th July 2019
Head to Alpe D’Huez to ride the famous mountain hairpins.
